“I see only what I believe I see, and nothing more.”
Ulquiorra Cifer, resurrected and powerless, can only wonder why he continues to exist. Even with his new grasp on "the heart," he believes the life he now leads is just as hollow as his former existence as an Espada. But, others tell him there's a promising method for him to regain his powers—if he can learn how to open his own "heart."
A rewrite of a fic I started a bit too hastily and dropped off before it really went anywhere. This time, I have an idea of what I'm doing. There will be OC-centric sections in this story, but Ulquiorra's journey is the driving force behind this.
Rated M for language, violence, and sexual scenes in later chapters
