Summary
In his first life, L died in the arms of his greatest enemy.
In his brief second one, he died alone.
And in his third, too-long life, L died anticipating finally getting even with the man who'd won their game one too many times.
And Light Yagami? If he'd known this is what picking up the Death Note would bring....well, he'd probably still have done it anyway.

Summary
This was it. This was the night.
And so what if Teru had previously proclaimed no less than seven other nights to be ‘it’? Those were just practice rounds, warm-ups so that the blonde could arrange everything perfectly.
Tonight was the night he finally confessed to Shigeo, and if he had to suffer through the taste of raw oysters along the way, then so be it, dammit!
[or: What I like to imagine happened with Teru's "bad experience" with raw oysters]

Summary
If Hinata is the sun, then Kageyama must be the Earth. Not because he thinks he’s that important or anything, but because Kageyama’s whole life revolves around Hinata. (You know, like how everything on Earth relies on the Sun to live?) Well, it revolves around volleyball, but the tricky thing with Hinata is his entire life is also volleyball, and therefore, the two cannot be separated in Kageyama’s mind. So, Kageyama’s life revolves around volleyball, but because Hinata is like volleyball personified, his life revolves around Hinata.
Or; Kageyama Tobio realizes he’s in love with his best friend halfway through first year. He doesn't quite know what to do about it.

Summary
“I owe you an apology.”
“Why’s that?”
Because he considered Phoenix incapable? Inaccurate and untrue. Because he thought Phoenix was wasting his potential in the arts? Closer, but still incorrect. Ultimately, he offers Phoenix a flat, pitiful, “I don’t know,” and leaves it at that.
