Summary
Yuuta would be a late blooming beta. Nothing more and nothing less. And Maki wished it were that way because she didn’t want to see her family’s arrogance reflected on him and she didn’t want him see her as something less because she was born an omega. If he presented as a beta, then their friendship would stay the same.
That’s why when she smelled the pheromones on the other side of her door, her first instinct was to grab her weapon.
“Maki-san, are you okay?”
It was the same soft voice that she had heard every day, but underneath that familiarity laid something else. Something had awoken. Yuuta, soft, anxious mess that screamed when people stood behind him was an alpha.

If there was one thing Yuuta couldn't deny it was the hunger he felt for Maki.
It was there, clutching his stomach as if he hadn't eaten in days. It was a hollow sensation that left him famished, craving for her attention, her touch, her smell, her smirks.. Anything he could get, he devoured it like he had been famished and still felt unsatisfied.
He wanted more.
He needed more.

Summary
The kisses Yuuta gave her always started out slow before picking up in a rhythm that left her breathless and panting, forcing Maki to push his face away in order to catch her breath.
Except that Yuuta didn’t want that.
When she pushed, he leaned in further, desperately searching for her mouth. They almost wrestled with each other for dominance until she had enough and asked him why he was acting that way. His eyes met hers while using his hands to cup her cheek in order to hold her still.
“Because I want to devour you Maki-san.”
