Summary

Summary
October 1968 in the United States. The Civil Rights Act was only passed four years prior, and America is currently struggling in the Vietnam War. Anti-war protests are at an all-time high, and a general discontent has begun to grow in the younger working class. Numerous counter-culture movements have begun to spring up, and overall, public opinion of both the war and the government as a whole is very low.
Journi DeJolie is a college dropout returning to her hometown, only to find that it's changed drastically, and that the new mayor has nefarious plans concerning the "Wyrdwell," a spring with healing properties and the ability to grant psychic powers called "Stands." She rushes to uncover and put an end to the mayor's plot, before they can secure their re-election.
Part 1 of an ongoing fan part set in the same universe as the YouTube series JOJO: The Lighted Stage by Cody Savoie, in a continuity separate from the Steel Ball Run or Parts 1-6. Any art contained within done by @smushypanda_ on Instagram!
