Hollander freezes. “What?”

Shane decides to be truthful. “Because he’s a man,” he answers evenly. Ilya, of course, makes him regret his honesty immediately.
“Oh, so you’re a homophobe now? Good to know.” He nods along to his words. “My husband is a homophobe. I should get this on a t-shirt.”
Marleau coming out as bisexual has some unfortunate consequences in the Hollanov household that he is blissfully unaware of.

Summary
Once they are back and settled in their hotel room, Shane on his phone, texting, it suddenly occurs to Hayden that they are in Boston, and what that means.
“You can not fuck Lily in my body, bro.”
Shane turns to him slowly, entirely unimpressed before his eyes glaze for a second and he snorts.
“I’m serious, you can’t. It may not be me in there, but that body–” he gestures to Shane, to his own body “–it’s married, okay?”
Shane keeps blinking at him. It’s funny how despite it being his own face, Shane’s deadpan expression shines through. “How the fuck would I explain this?”
The body swap au nobody asked for with a twist.
What happens when Shane and Hayden swap bodies while in Boston?
Why does Rozanov seem to sense something is off immediately?—Why is Pike so comfortable maneuvering his way through Ilya's house?—Why the fuck is this happening to Shane?

“You freak out because I–” said your name. It’s so small, almost insignificant, and yet, it has caused so much ruin. “...but Miles was practically humping you in public, and that’s fine."
“It’s different,” Shane stresses like Ilya should understand. That’s the problem, Ilya realizes, because he does understand. But that doesn’t make it any easier.
“Why, because you were making out with Rose Landry when it happened?”
Shane doesn’t acknowledge the words. He shakes his head again and straightens his back as he meets Ilya’s eyes, resolutely.
“Things between us can’t change,” he says.
“They already have. Hollander.”

Ilya witnesses Shane dancing sandwiched between Rose and Miles in the club, with Rose's hands under his shirt and Miles' lips on his neck. When he flees out of there, Shane follows after him, and it changes their following interactions.

Summary
“You are planning to rob me or what?” He hears Rozanov call, and he can’t help but smile slightly even as he rolls his eyes, closing the door to the linen closet and feeling strangely lighter than when he opened it, reassured that he’s just trying to read into a blank page, that today doesn’t mean anything more than Rozanov doesn’t mind him being around, which is strangely flattering.
“I don’t know,” he calls back. “Don’t Russians like diamonds and fur and stuff? Where should I start looking if I want to know what my options are?”
He hears Rozanov laugh, and it makes him smile.
When he joins him in the living room once more, Rozanov tugs him down to lean against him again. Shane goes easier this time, settling into it, knowing it doesn’t mean anything other than the fact that he just happens to be the closest warm body, the person on Rozanov’s roster who filled today’s slot.
