Kai doesn’t know what happened or what he did for Soobin to try to avoid him completely. It’s like they’ve become coworkers, the very thing the two swore they would never become.
At least Soobin was doing well without him though, right? With all the new friends the older was making, it makes sense he wouldn’t have time for Kai or find him interesting anymore.

The one who shares songs with Kai because it’s easier to talk about feelings that way sometimes. Other times it’s just nice to share songs with someone you love.

So he waits for Beomgyu to open his eyes again, the gaze glowing with warmth as he stares at Kai kindly all over again.
“I don’t think I feel very good,” is what Kai says.
