Summary
Jihoon groaned to himself, staring at his desktop wordlessly. He felt weak, and futile. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t begin to think of lyrics for the song that he’d convinced everyone he could handle on his own. Tears of frustration welled in his eyes, cursing himself, voice so quiet that it was barely above a whisper. “Why the fuck can’t I think? Pull yourself together, Jihoon.” His voice broke near the end, his tears threatening to fall.
Upon finding him, Soonyoung acted fast; pulling the man into his embrace, holding him tightly at an attempt to wordlessly comfort him.

Summary
“There aren’t winners and losers in peewee soccer, you idiot,” Seungkwan says.
“There so is,” Chan shoots back. “There’s playoffs. We’re probably going to be up against the Dazzling Dolphins, not that you care.”
“Seriously? You know the team names? You’re more hopeless than I thought.” Seungkwan turns around in his seat. “Hey, Wonwoo. What’s the name of Jinsol’s soccer team?”
“Uh,” Wonwoo says, from behind them. “Purple?”
“We’re the Galactic Geckos, genius,” Chan tells him. Some mom in the fourth row gives him a stink eye.
“Yeah, that’ll show him,” Seungkwan mutters. “How are you not embarrassed?”

Summary
“I’m serious. Junhui, this is so bad.”
“I know,” Junhui sighs.
Wonwoo pauses. “Just come over as soon as you can. I’ll see what I can find out, but I don’t know if anything I’m capable of is going to be able to fix him.”
Something horrible is brewing in Junhui’s stomach. The feeling of security from having someone to call is withering away and leaving him with a mess he doesn’t know how to clean up. If it even can be.

Summary
Soonyoung had always been loud, bright, and impossible to miss—and Jihoon had always been quietly watching from the corner of the room. From childhood to college, they’ve grown up side by side, sharing snacks, silence, and the kind of friendship that feels like gravity. But somewhere between stolen glances and missed chances, Soonyoung became the centre of Jihoon’s world—and Jihoon never found the right words to say so.
