The moon, now low in the sky, lights dimly the hill. Taehyung, who is sitting cross-legged on the blanket he got from the car some time ago, turns with a happy face. Yoongi joins him taking small quick steps, he crouches and taps one of Taehyung’s thighs – a silent way to ask him to make space for him.
“It depends,” Taehyung says, spreading his legs.
“On what?”
“On which portion of the sky you want to look at.”
“I want to look at everything.”
“Okay. Come and sit then, we have to start somewhere.”

“Are you scared?” he asked.
Yoongi closed his eyes.
He thought he was feeling many things at that moment, probably even a hint of fear. The dominating feeling, though, was the urge to cry. For the first time since he had understood he was gay, since he had learned that his want revolved around men, he felt completely himself. He loved that Taehyung, a young man, was eagerly looking at him, touching him and making him feel hot, wanted. It was wonderful to realize he was naked beneath him and he didn’t want anything else, and not feeling even a shred of shame was liberating.
For that reason, “No,” he said, “I’m just feeling a lot.”
Taehyung kissed him again. “I am, too,” he confessed, his voice trembling.

"We don’t know exactly how long," Seokjin admits, his expression suddenly serious. "We’ve spoken to him several times on the phone. He told us he just needs a place to get settled, and then he’ll figure things out. It’s not a vacation, Yoongi. He’s coming here for something serious."
"And that serious thing would be?"
“He was hit by a car and had his right leg amputated over a year ago."
