Summary
Wilbur Soot was, undeniably, dead.
Except he couldn’t quite remember his life. And, apparently, one needed to resolve any unfinished business on Earth before passing into the mysterious Beyond. But resolving unfinished business from a life he couldn’t remember was impossible.
Desperate, Wilbur enlisted local problem child Tommy Innes, the spirit who had wandered the Afterlife for longer than anybody could remember, for help.
That was when things got messy.

“Nagisa?” Firm hands are placed on his shoulders as Karma searches Nagisa’s face for confirmation, and when he’s satisfied, he relinquishes his grip. Nagisa slouches over without the support, putting his hand back to his stomach with much discomfort. “What are you doing here? Nobody’s seen you in seven years, idiot, and you decide to break into my house? Can’t say I’m surprised. Typical Nagisa.”
(In which Nagisa is chased by deadly assassins and decides to seek shelter in what he thought to be Karma's unused childhood home. Oh, did I mention he's been shot?)

Summary
Enter Oikawa Tooru, the heir to a successful name in Japanese business. Money, power, influence; the Oikawas have it all—or so it seems. When Tooru is caught in an affair with one Iwaizumi Hajime, he’s cut off from his wealth and deemed ‘an embarrassment to the family name’, all for being gay. Now he has to learn how to survive without being waited on hand and foot by a butler—without being funded by an endless wallet. As assassins, their job is to do what their hirer entails, and then they get paid. This mission had an emphasis put on discretion, hence why the pair don’t just slam the door open or pick the lock to the room; that would leave evidence of their presence, and they’re supposed to be ghosts tonight.
And ghosts they shall be.
(Or, your two favorite assassins are on a mission that goes terribly wrong.)
