“Kuroba,” Shinichi began, waiting until Kuroba gave his full attention. “Would you like to go get dinner with me after this?”
The magician blinked. Shinichi stared back, fighting the urge to look away.
Then, Kuroba gave out an easy laugh, one that was loud and bright that Shinichi felt almost a pain in his chest, but it went quickly as it came. “Sure,” Kuroba said, smiling at ease. “Why not?”
