Summary
So there he was. Staring at El’s memorial, while he was supposed to be getting ready for the graduation ceremony.
Sometimes, he would like to think - pretend - that everything would be okay if she’d survived.
That, if she’d survived, they would be happy and together, loving each other.
To pretend that, she was the one he loved. That she was the love of his life.
That he is never going to love a woman anymore because the one he loved had passed away.
But, deeply inside he knows- he knows that this is a big huge fucking lie that he keeps telling himself. Hoping that one day it will stuck in his brain so hard that he will actually believe in it.
He knows that he will never be able to love any woman. And he knows well why.
But the truth is that he’s tired of lying to himself.
