"I have" He insists, knowing very well he has not.
Jesper smiles but it's something more fond than teasing. Or perhaps that's what Kaz would prefer to see. He's Dirtyhands for saints sake, he has to have some level of decency - having someone tease him for his inability to drive a car wasn't good for his image.

Fifteen months after Matthias Helvar dies, Nina Zenik and Inej Ghafa leave for their own adventures of justice, a man is killed. Upon being framed for this, Jesper Fahey has to go on the run and ends up on a road trip with his former boss.
Together, they have to solve the murder and prove Jesper's innocence whilst keeping him from being captured and killed. A rather difficult feat considering the whole of Ketterdam is after Jesper's guts.
(in which kaz can't drive, inej has a dance battle and jesper defeats both the second army and the darkling's forces. maybe they solve a murder. just maybe. but there's also a cat!)
