He pushes his palm towards Komaeda’s mouth.
His reaction is just as expected; eyes that hesitantly flicker between the hand offered to him and Kamukura himself. A vague look in his eyes that tells Kamukura he’s absolutely parched, that he’s playing all the right chords with this move.
‘Good,’ he thinks. ‘It’s all going accordingly then.’

Summary
Kamukura faces him now, the hand pressed to the inside of his dress shirt sticky with his own blood. His face is a little less stoic than usual.
“You— You’re wounded.”
“Yes.” His voice is perfectly even. “I am.”
He can’t just ignore that. It’s his first time seeing Kamukura in a year, and one of the first things he could do is gloss over the fact that he’s bleeding out in front of him?
“Can I…?” Komaeda asks, but the rest of his words never come out. When his eyes lock on with the gash in Kamukura’s side, he doesn’t bother finishing his sentence.
(Komaeda reunites with Kamukura in somewhat unfortunate circumstances.)

Summary
Despite his focus being on sterilizing the needle, he can’t help but glance at Komaeda’s sprawled out body on his bed. Because Komaeda is... nice to look at, even if he is all fried black hair and black eyeliner and Ice Nine Kills wristbands— and the more he thinks about it, the more he finds his attraction to such a fashion disaster embarrassing.
Even underneath all of that, Komaeda is still cute. Pale skin and jade eyes, androgynous features and a lithe build. He’s charming in the most annoying ways possible, and his doting is just as frustrating as it is endearing.
Feelings are confusing, he decides. Especially when they have to do with Komaeda Nagito.
(Komaeda wants a tattoo, and Kamukura is the poor soul who has to do it.)

They’ve both discarded their jackets and shoes long ago, tossed somewhere where the blades of grass ended and the endless sea of flowers began. Bare feet padding against soft dirt and ankles nipped at by dwarfed blossoms, the hum of insects near the water quiet in their ears, sounds of destruction and chaos far, far away.
It’s... nice. A moment of hope and peace— serenity— during the age of despair. It eases her headache, just a bit.
