“Did this bozo help you find anything yet or has he just been flirting the whole time?”
Steve balks, but doesn’t deny it. You hate to admit it, but a small part of you likes the idea of him flirting with you. Has he been flirting? If he has, it isn’t how you imagined Steve Harrington flirting would be like. You always figured he was all heavy cologne and cheesy pick-up lines, not fumbling jokes and awkward movie recommendations.
“He helped me find tonight’s movie,” you say, holding up the tape as proof.
Steve moves forward, ushering you towards the counter with a hand on your back. The contact is warm and sends a pleasant tingle up your spine.
“I was just about to check her out.” He says.
Robin snorts. “I’m sure you were.”

High school was not very kind to you.
You didn’t tend to make many friends, and your socialization was limited to yourself and maybe a couple classmates. Even those were usually the result of a school-related assignment.
You did have one friend, Robin, but it seemed she’d been sucked away by none other than Steve Harrington. Once upon a time you’d been enamored by him, like most of the Hawkins High School student body. His illustrious hair, fit body, sweet smile. All of it pulled at your heartstrings. At least until he’d made you the class joke.

"You're pregnant," Shen Wenlang says. "With my baby."
"No," Gao Tu denies instantly, rage starting to eat the panic. "With my baby. I don't want anything from you but for you to leave me alone."
His instincts start to stir, something violent and old writhing in his gut, but he doesn't have long to think about it before Shen Wenlang, jaw tight, reaches out as if to grab him.
The sudden snarl that tears out of Gao Tu's throat as he steps back is so vicious it hurts to make, but the omega ignores the pain and bares his teeth, one hand curled protectively around his stomach and the other hovering, ready to do whatever it takes to protect his child.
"There is no amount of money you can throw at me to make me give him up," he hisses, a growl hovering beneath every word. "And trust me, Shen Wenlang, when I say I will fucking kill you before I let you hurt my baby."

Or Gao Tu gets to bitch slap Shen Wenlang like he deserves, and Shen Wenlang decides that he is going to do whatever it takes to keep this feral omega and his (future) pup
Or or I will never get over the fact that Shen Wenlang didn't follow Gao Tu into that stupid bathroom in Episode 16
