Furrowing her eyebrows together, she glanced up from her clipboard and was met with cold steel-gray eyes. Platinum strands of hair stuck to his forehead, probably due to the sheer amount of cold sweat that was exhibited from the overdose. Pale alabaster skin, coated in sweat, enveloped by the hospital robes. Long black straps were adjourned across his chest, making the shape of an X, trapping him against the bed. And a familiar sneer she knew all too well from the years of torment she was subjected to by the man in front of her.
