At fourteen, Wednesday is coerced into trying therapy.
After scoffing at the irony of her parents suggesting she should see someone to discuss her aversion to social situations, Wednesday gives it some actual thought and absentmindedly settles on the number ten.
Ten sessions were enough to make her parents happy and hopefully finally realize whatever was wrong with her was simply beyond fixing.
Ten sessions and she would drop it, tell her therapist to look for an actual job and stomp on Sigmund Freud's figurative grave.
