Summary
Yuna knows Shane is going to hate this. Hell, she hates it and she's the one suggesting it. But she squares her shoulders, ties her hair back, turns off the television, and turns to her son on the couch. She tells him, "We're trying hockey today."
Shane, as she expected, explodes.
He's 4 years old. He explodes about everything.
A big part of that is just how much energy and need for routine he has—who ever heard of a 4-year-old wanting routines?—which is why they're trying hockey today.
--
Irina knows Ilya is going to love this. She loves it, and that's why she's suggesting it. She ties her hair back with a kerchief and tugs a jacket over her shoulders before going to fetch him from his room. She tells him, "We're trying hockey today."
Ilya, as she expected, explodes with glee.
He's 4 years old. Everything is still magical to him.
Irina is grateful Ilya still sees the world as magic—she will preserve that magic for him as long as she can—so she has someone to share it with.

Summary
“Oh, so you have problem with LGBTQs?” Rozanov leans back against the counter, chest puffed out, nipples tight. Shane has the distinct feeling Rozanov is toying with him, like a cat with a cornered mouse. But Rozanov’s smile is so soft, and for some reason, that makes Shane even more nervous.
“Fuck! No, I don’t—”
“If you have boner when I am fucking men—”
“What the fuck, Rozanov?” Shane can feel his pulse in his head, like someone is beating two ball peen hammers right against his temples. He blinks hard. Fuck, he can barely see straight.
“—you might be LGBTQs. So I think you should not have problem, yes?"
Or: Ilya and Shane navigate sharing a house.

Summary
Hollander was a bigshot on the BU campus. He was a sports medicine major set to graduate summa cum laude, captain of the college hockey team, on his way to being recruited to the MLH, and an overall Golden Boy. He was known for his politeness; everyone always said that he was a perfectly considerate and respectable young man. He wasn’t much one for parties, but somehow he still seemed to have made friends in strange places. His awkwardness only added to his charm, drawing people towards his genuinity like moths to a flame.
Ilya hadn’t seen very much of that side of Hollander personally, because every time they interacted, he seemed dead set on acting like Ilya’s existence was an inconvenience to him.OR
Ilya is tired of getting set up on blind dates by Sveta, especially because he's been pining after Shane Hollander for three years. When Sveta tries to set him up on one last date for old time's sake, Ilya decides to send Sasha in his stead. The only problem? This time, the person waiting for him was Hollander himself. Hollander, who apparently has been pining after Ilya for just as long. What a clusterfuck.

Summary
“We do not say anything about the Hollander situation,” LeClaire tells them even though it sounds like he’s already resigned to what he knows is going to happen.
After all, Roz gets extremely mad whenever it’s brought up. Not that Cliff can blame him, he’s pretty sure that Roz liked Hollander before this (wouldn’t chirp him half as much if he didn’t). Finding out that he’s such a bastard must sting.
Not to mention that Roz does not mess around with people that disrespect girls. Or women. Or kids. Or dogs. Or the elderly (excluding Scott Hunter). Or really anyone, if it’s for petty stupid reasons.
“Of course,” Cliff agrees for both of them since Roz is still too busy texting someone.
It’s apparently not good enough for LeClaire because he asks, “Roz?”
“Just one second,” he answers without raising his eyes from his phone or stopping his typing. “Need to get my Jane to agree with something. She’s very stubborn.”
Or. My take on the 'their text leak and now everybody thinks that Shane is an abusive bastard' premise. Featuring Ilya giving a presser, Marly realizing in real time who 'Jane' is and the internet reacting to the craziness.
