He holds his beer up in front of himself just a little, hoping the innocuous task will coax Venom back out. The two of them can definitely talk when Venom is just a voice in Eddie’s head but, for conversations like this, where it’s serious even if Eddie isn’t sure why, face-to-face seems to work best.
A thin black tendril rolls out of the front of his shoulder and stretches toward the bottle cap, it’s almost there when Eddie reaches his other hand up and twirls his finger around the tendril. He tugs it gently away from his body as the tendril slips and twists around his finger.
“Love? Come out here, please.” The writhing ball python in Eddie’s rib cage stops its incessant slithering and the tendril coiling and curling around his finger goes still, too. “Did I do something wrong?”
OR
Venom is having some Feelings™️ after a conversation with one of Eddie's colleagues but, for the life of him, Eddie can’t figure out what those feelings are. Their conversation seems to be going nowhere, but the two of them have always communicated better in other ways...

Donna shakes her head, her stomach up in knots. “Jackie. I’ve had my period twice since we’ve been on the road.”
But Jackie only turns back to the list in her hands. “Any day now,” she whispers.
Donna gets abandoned, then dumped via letter. Jackie gets her entire future ripped from her hands. Suddenly, staying in Point Place seems pointless, and their rekindled friendship takes Donna and Jackie on an adventure in search of themselves.
