Summary
Look, being thrown through time and space isn't fun in the first place. But being attacked while already in such a situation? That’s just bad manners. Darkrai would know, of course, suddenly being on the receiving end of just that.
But at least he landed in the past, meaning he has the perfect chance to finally take his revenge on those pesky ‘heroes’ that got him there in the first place. And he has the perfect plan, this time: Disguise himself as a perfectly harmless Pokémon, get close to them, and once they fully trust him… stab them in the back and watch them suffer!
Now, if only he could stop himself from starting to like the once-human… that would be great. And where, exactly, has the original partner Pokémon gone?
(Can technically be read without knowledge of the Mystery Dungeon Series)(was intended to be crack. is now just a story with the occasional humour but also angst and too many words. and a surprising amount of character development for Darkrai. basically the Redemption Arc he never got.)

Summary
A series of short fics in chronological order that revolve around life in the Ace Attorney prison.
Many of these can more or less be read as stand-alone pieces, but there are ongoing plots and character arcs since it's in chronological order. Not intended to flow as a chapter book-- I just really enjoy fleshing out characters and relationships bit by bit while plot goes on in the background.Imagine a movie, but instead of letting it play out like normal, the camera turns away from the main characters and focuses on a couple sitting on a bench nearby. Or it zeroes in on a specific part of the villain's routine that isn't necessary to move the plot forward, but gives more insight to that character. Or it fast-forwards through the specifics of a plan the heroes are making, and then stops and plays normally when they're like, "hey.... I care about you, stay safe".

Even as addicted to the occult as Iris is, she thought being haunted by two murderers would be a terrifying experience. For the first few days, it was. She doesn't know if she's ever been more scared than when she looked in the mirror and heard a disembodied voice tell her she looks just like someone he killed.
However, Saito's active malice giving him the ability to occasionally twitch her fingers results in very little consequences other than switching the cursor on her hotbar in Shovelforge to a bucket of lava and Uru's constant chatter just turns to chronic backseating; it makes Iris think of them as little other than strange pests.
(AKA: Iris tried to use a Ouija board to contact "dead relatives" one time and ended up being haunted by her two half-brothers who she doesn't know are related to her and now they won't leave.)
