“Hello?” Stan said hesitantly as he answered the call.
“About time, dude,” the voice on the other end said. It was like a punch in the gut, so hard it sent Stan tumbling back in time. Suddenly, he was fourteen again.
“…Kyle?”
“Who else would it be?” Kyle scoffed. “I’ve been calling for five minutes. Why didn’t you pick up?”
Stan pulled the phone away, blinking as he registered the time. “It’s three AM,” he murmured.
Also, they weren’t friends… Hadn’t been for years.
Or, after a head injury, Kyle temporarily forgets about his and Stan's fallout. It's the perfect opportunity for Stan to reenter his life.

Summary
Nobody seems to give a shit about the disappearance of Peter Parker. Wade decides he's going to be the one to avenge Peter Parker by killing Spiderman, if no one else will.
Meanwhile, Spiderman learns that you shouldn't get into the habit of talking about yourself in the third person or being overly dramatic. He's lost everyone who ever cared about him and now even Deadpool wants to kill him - and the harder Deadpool tries, the more Spiderman begins to wonder if he should just let him.

“Where am I?” he mutters. Adrenaline is flooding through his body. His heart is beating so terribly that he can feel it inside his chest. His entire body has broken out in a cold sweat. And somehow, despite it all, his spidey-sense is dead silent. What does it know that the rest of his body doesn’t?
“Our apartment,” says the man. He’s standing now. Peter didn’t notice when he got to his feet. “Can you tell me who you are, sweetheart?”
Peter laughs, incredulous. He’s not exactly sure what he’s laughing at. “Peter,” he says. “Of course, I know who I am.”
“Okay,” the man says, sounding just as concerned and careful as before. “But you don't know who I am?”
Or: Peter gets amnesia, wiping out the last 5 years of his life. But really, how much can change in five years?

“About how adorable you were in your Tobey Maguire movies?”
“What? No, you never said that. Tobey Who?”
“Ah, never mind, that was in the comics, I think it was Cable and Deadpool #24? Hmmm… Oh, wait, I remember, I was telling you about how you had the finest ass I’d ever—”
“No," Spider-Man cuts in, firmly. “No, Deadpool, it was like, after all that. After we fought together for the first time, remember what you said?” He motions with his hands as though he was trying to prompt the right response.
“Oh! That you were so cute and awesome, you could get a free hit on the house— oh.” His white lenses widen with realization, then squint in confusion. “Wait, Spider-Man wants to call in a hit on someone?”

As Parker luck would have it, it's awfully hard for Peter to die. He's tried everything he can think of: hanging, drowning, overdosing, gassing, cutting... He's been blessed with the powers of a spider and the immortality of a goddamn cockroach. In a final, desperate attempt to end his life, he asks Deadpool to put out a hit on a seemingly ordinary civilian: Peter Parker.
