Summary
When John summons Azazel to deal for Dean's life in 2x01, he uses the closest available vessel. The unspeakable follows.
--
The summoning is done and John stands, waiting. He’s listening for the sound of footsteps, maybe. Or some kind of demonic whoosh.“Dad?”
Shit.

Summary
Sometimes Dean thinks he knows John better than anyone in the world, better than he knows himself, and other times he thinks he doesn’t know a damn thing about him. The man who makes him lick his boots and spits in his mouth and cuts him open isn’t his father, but he is. Maybe he never used to be this man and this is just who he turned into, and maybe it’s Dean’s fault, and Dean has to take what he is given and be grateful for it.
Dean feels disgusting. He feels like a freak. He feels like he’ll die if John doesn’t touch him.
It could stop here, but it won’t. -

Summary
Dean finally forces himself into a motel room he’s been avoiding, and the weight of what’s inside hits him all at once, raw and suffocating. Left alone with his grief, he clings to what he’s lost, crossing lines he never thought he would in a desperate attempt to feel close again. It’s messy, quiet, and deeply unsettling, driven more by shock and denial than anything else, as he struggles to let go in the silence.
