Chan looked at the younger’s lips, observed as a small pink tongue stuck out and laved at a plush, just as pink, lower lip. Quickly as it came it disappeared again and Chan wanted to chase it with his own. At the thought, he darted his eyes back to Minho’s, who looked back with brows furrowed, questioning.

once an omega turns twenty years old, they must participate in an annual mating run where they can be caught and mated by an alpha. lee minho isn't against the idea of mating, but he wants to be able to choose his own alpha and not have one force himself on him. he's being chased by a group of ill-intentioned alphas when he is saved by bang chan, the alpha telling him that he wants to mate him, but only if minho wants him, too.

Changbin stares at Minho with a confused fascination, watching as he swings the rope through a patch of sturdy branches, pulling it taut and looping a few knots to tie it in place.
“It’s not that I don’t want a mate, Binnie,” Minho responds, stepping back out of the brush and tilting his head this way and that, giving his handiwork a final once-over. It’s the last trap he has time to set, and he wants to make sure it counts. “I just think that they should have to earn it.”
