Summary

Summary
Too many arguments too much tears, they foreseed how it will end. Their break up was a mutual agreement and so was what came after.
During a night out with their team, they found themselves alone, intoxicated, and dangerously close. To prevent themselves from repeating past mistakes Emily proposed an arrangement.
And they agreed- It was just sex, purely physical, devoid of any lingering emotions or attachments. They both labeled the longing and old feelings they experienced as a combination of satisfaction with the convenient deal and a natural attraction. However they also acknowledged that it would eventually come to an end. They agreed that once one of them met someone new, they would stop. Aaron eventually did and was ready to move on.
Later, Emily took several unexplained days off, leaving Aaron confused when she finally returned, she acted coldly, making it clear that she no longer wished to be around him. As a result, they grew distant from each other, giving up the ability to communicate.
Will their relationship change when they go undercover to apprehend a serial killer? Secrets, grudges, and guilt come into play.
