Summary
In the meantime, they’d have their familiar dance; trips to museums and galleries, promenades through the park, evenings in the shop where the world went golden and giddy at the edges.
Six thousand years, he’d gone without Crowley kissing him. He’d go another six if it meant giving Crowley the world instead.
[Aziraphale and Crowley have rekindled their old friendship, which is all they want from each other now that the world hasn't ended. Absolutely nothing more. Nothing at all.]

Summary
"Through the dusty voiles evidence of the still-turning world shone through, the warm hues of the sun followed by the buzzing neon streetlamps of a city still living. The cycle repeated over and over, dust settling on the familiar cream coat, a figure still but for his eyes following the shadows curling around scattered furniture. He stayed on the floor for quite some time, cold and lonely and in pain. He imagined this is what the fall had felt like, the burning of skin replaced by the burn in his soul. He deserved this."
Set after Aziraphale and Crowley have averted the Second Coming but fail to talk to each other.

Summary
Crowley had made plenty of dumb decisions in his existence. Some of those decisions had been made on a whim, or out of sheer morbid curiosity.
That day he had to admit was probably his worst decision to date.

Summary
It didn’t help that the rest of his ribs felt as though they had caved and shattered to debris. It didn’t help that this stupid organ beating against the fragments kept bleeding and bleeding and refused to die. It should be dead. After everything he’d done, it should be very very dead and cold and hard as stone.
Instead, it was a mushy thing that tore open under a touch too harsh. Now, it wouldn’t stop bleeding.

Summary
Maybe that was Aziraphale’s first action as the new archangel in charge: I hereby declare that demons can now contract demonpox. Symptoms include wet and burning eyes, shortness of breath, an uncomfortable tightness in the chest, and an all-encompassing sense of impending doom.
That would certainly explain it.
Or: Crowley wonders if he'll ever be happy again. (He will.) (They're both idiots.)
Immediately following the events of Season 2, Episode 6.
