“Why the sudden interest in our friends?” Kirishima pulled his eyes off Bakugo and Midoriya for the first time that night to take in Kaminari. He wasn't looking too bad himself, if he was being honest. He had clearly spent a while on his hair tonight, and had recently taken to smudging a small amount of eyeliner into his waterline before he went out. He had kept on his choker from his hero uniform, and it was showing off the contour of his neck beautifully.
“Sudden?” He chuckled. “Youre telling me you've never thought about it?” Kaminari was using the same tone of voice he was when he was trying to lure his friends into pervy discussions of cutest pro heros or would you rathers between pretty girls. Maybe that should've tipped Kirishima off a little sooner on what he was getting at. Maybe he was feeling his drink a little more than he thought he was.

Izuku freezes the second their eyes lock.
Katsuki looks wrecked.
Not just tired- undone. His lips are parted, red and raw from where he’s been biting them, breath ghosting out in shallow bursts. His face is wet- tears cutting clean down his cheeks, catching in the light.
His lashes are stuck together, blinking slow, like even that’s too much effort. Strands of hair cling to his forehead, dark with sweat and salt, and his eyeliner is smeared-
And those eyes. Still burning under everything. Shattered, but unrelenting.
Izuku stares.
And swallows the lump in his throat, hard.
Katsuki cries, and Deku is royally fucked.
