Summary
The job was fairly simple for a job backed by Mori: infiltrate, steal, and leave no trace. Blowing the ship up may not have been what he had in mind, but if he didn’t want an artistic touch, he shouldn’t have hired Dazai for the job. As always with Mori, the details are hazy and the merchandise is a mystery, but as long as Mori keeps paying him in Dust he’ll take whatever half-hazard bullshit job he’s got to give, no questions asked.

Maddie sighs, “Evan,” And he already knows what she's going to say, can tell by her tight, mournful expression. He deflates, stomach bottoming out, double lines on plastic flashing in his mind with the bitter realization that he is going to have to do this alone.
