Alex Romero’s memories of Norma Bates were foggy. After her death, it felt as though he had died too—the only difference was that he was still breathing. The memories of her had been erased from his mind, leaving behind nothing but an ache he couldn’t name. And he would spend the rest of his life trying to remember her again, even if it meant searching for her in fragments—finding an epitome of her in someone else.
