    “I DON’T FUCKING KNOW!” Kuroo screamed, hands pounding into the soil as he sobbed loudly. He was practically screaming.

    Bokuto wanted him to stop.

    But he wasn’t one to talk. He was crying just as loudly, he just hadn’t noticed. He was crying harder than he ever remembered crying, and soon he felt Kuroo clinging to him, his arms wrapping around his torso desperately.

    He couldn’t breathe.

When his power first showed itself, he and his mother were chased from their village deep into the woods, where they scrapped by day by day. "Does the world want cruelty...?" Izuku said to himself quietly one night, listening to the soft breaths of his mother after she had finally cried herself to sleep. He glared out the window of his broken home to the pitch black sky, eyes cold and dead. "If it's cruelty they want, then cruelty they will get."

    Bakugou wiggled his shoulders watching in abject horror as the two voluptuous, billowy mounds on his chest sashayed back and forth before bouncing immediately back into their upright position. Both headlights pointing due north, erect from the cold and ready to stab out the eye of any man who dared to get too close.

    “You really did it this time problem child,” Aizawa mumbled from the doorway, a frown pulling at the corners of his thin mouth.

    Bakugou is hit with a quirk called Change, and is now...a woman. His default setting is always anger, so he should be pissed. The weird thing is, that he's just...not.

    Deku, his unrequited crush, has always been into girls. So Katsuki can't help but wonder if the nerd will notice him now? In a let's f*ck it out sorta way.
    After all, gender is just a social construct to Bakugou. It's never mattered to him what gender a person was or wasn't. He judged them by their strength, intelligence and tenacity. Being a girl won't stop him from being number one!

    Kacchan is wrong about everything. Izuku already loves him and gender is irrelevant. Izuku just wants his Kacchan.

    He was not an idiot, and soon enough, he noticed it too. When Mina broke up with Kiri, Katsuki was the first one at his side. He stayed in the redhead’s room for hours, consoling him and giving him a shoulder to cry on. He canceled training with Izuku to get Kirishima back on his feet. He pushed back their dates to cook dinner for him. He disregarded Izuku’s texts to spend time with him. 

    And Izuku, tragically, understood. 

    As the first petal tumbled from his busted lips after returning from patrol one March evening in their third year, he understood perfectly.
