- SPOILERS FOR IN STARS AND TIME ACT 5 AND TWO HATS ENDING
After Siffrin entered the House on his own, Loop encounters the other four saviors and emotions they didn't realize they had began to surface. They wanted their family back, but since the universe obliterated their timeline they were stuck helping these faces that were so achingly familiar save someone who looked so much like they used to look.
Loop hated Siffrin for stealing what used to be theirs, and they wanted him dead for it.

“Why didn’t you say? You didn’t mention it at all in those awkward ‘boundaries’ conversations early on. You just said, ‘obviously me being undressed is a no’ or something and moved on, I thought it was an ace thing!”
“Well I thought it was obvious!”

Also… well, as Georgie put it: “There are only two situations where you’d say someone ‘died in the line of duty’: if they were actually a literal soldier, or else if you’re a serial killer and you’re not actually that committed to pretending you didn’t kill them. Unless Gertrude died in a top-secret war that’s going on in the basement of the Magnus Institute, I see only one option here.”
Jon glared, but Georgie shrugged. “Sorry, Jon, I just call it like I see it. Your boss is a serial killer and you’re next on his hit list. Probably best not to take his creepy cursed job position.”
