As the door to the dormitory bangs open and an excitable Sirius Black bursts in, a half clothed Remus spins to face away quickly. It is not quickly enough. Sirius sees, Sirius knows.

Summary
Remus tries to end his life after grappling with derealisation for years following his father's suicide and a childhood trauma he can't fully remember. He is revived and sent to Hogs Ward rehabilitation centre. Where he meets James Potter, a hyperactive boy with turrets, Peter Pettigrew, a mostly non-verbal boy with Autism, and Sirius Black, a boy his age who is a complete mystery. He tells you everything and nothing about himself in the same breath, and immediately Remus is curious. Remus also grapples with his sanity and meets the different patients in the ward. He tries to reflect on his past and what drove his father to suicide, wondering if his mental health is connected to Lyall's in some way.
