Instinct tugged her toward ritual posture, hands lifted and head bowed to just the right angle, but she fought it back. That girl was gone. The one who had believed she could be perfection if she only obeyed enough.
Instead, Illari leaned forward slowly and pressed her forehead to the stone.

“Let’s go.”
“Where are we going?” Illari asks.
“Inside. The moment the sun sets, you’re going to get cold.”

{ Illari wobbled over to the mystery girl, anxieties long forgotten. The girl noticed and looked up at the drunken mess stumbling towards her with a small smirk and without warning, Illari threw herself down on the seat beside her with all the grace of a hippo.
“Why are you,” she paused, eyebrows furrowed in concentration as she searched for the right words, “what are you doing for me. Looking at me?”
The other girl chuckled and sat forward in her seat, placing her empty glass down on the table in front of her.
“Had a bit too much to drink have we, Sunshine?” she asked, an amused grin spreading across her face. }
