   Summary

   Six years after Ozai's defeat, unrest continues to spread across the continent. Burnt and bound by duty and culture, Katara is not the same girl she was in her youth. Misplaced faith and past mistakes have left blood on her hands and scars on her heart that she was never meant to carry. As the Envoy, she has seen hope crumble like ash, as the lingering sentiments of the war continue to revolt in the Earth Kingdom and the infidel waterbenders of the Northern Tribe. Meanwhile, Firelord Zuko navigates the challenges of ruling in his father's place, as he struggles to reconcile with Azula and understand what it means to be a leader, and have lost everything to attain it.
   War is mirthless, and as the Gaang learns, you cannot truly trust anyone.
