Summary
Inspired by TOS S1E13 "The Enemy Within" and Voyager S1E14 "Faces."
Kidnapped and imprisoned on an unfamiliar planet, Spock is separated into two people: one fully Vulcan and one fully human. Meanwhile, Kirk and the Enterprise crew search for Spock while attempting to save a civilization from collapse due to worldwide pandemic. To ensure that Spock survives the trauma, the crew must race against the clock.

Done, done, done!
This is a personal request from a fan, Katrinna Le Fay (yes, I do requests; sometimes it takes awhile, though).
Jim and Spock meet as children. Jim's mother is absent; his caretakers are abusive. Sarek and Amanda rescue their son's friend and raise the boys together. They discover they are t'hy'la and are bonded. Spock goes to Earth to join Starfleet; Jim goes with him.
This will be sort-of Abrams, with a dash of AU mixed in. for example, I'm not killing off Amanda. Enjoy.
