Summary
Hawks lost his wings to Dabi. There was nothing left for him- no flying, no hero work, no optimism left.
With his mentor in such a state, Tokoyami does his best to help.

Summary
“I can explain,” Hawks blurts.
Tokoyami blinks once, slow in a way that Hawks definitely does not feel nervous about—he is the number two hero and does not get nervous over his protege blinking at him—and then crosses his arms. “Please do.”

Summary
Tokoyami lost control of Dark Shadow, Eraserhead said when Hawks picked up the phone call earlier. I can’t erase his quirk because I can’t see Tokoyami himself, and while I’d normally wait him out until he’s calmed down, we don’t have the time. He’s injured. Badly.
