Weird dreams weren’t something out of the ordinary for her. It happened often, vivid dreams that she could recall the next morning without much trouble, it had always been like this.
Her therapist once told her something was wrong with her, that her brain wasn’t supposed to remember everything the next morning. When she was in high school she didn’t keep a diary filled with first love stories and embarrassing pre teen memories, she kept dream journals, pages and pages of the wildest stories that her imagination could come up with.
Yet she felt like something was different about last night's dream, it stuck to her in a different way. It felt sticky and fuzzy, too real for her own liking.
