If someone had asked Nicholas two years ago what his future looked like, he wouldn’t have had an answer. He would have said he didn’t know, that he didn’t think about the future because it wasn’t something he could count on.
Two years ago, Nicholas never would have imagined himself in this position. Hell, if someone had told him two years ago that he would be an official pack member, fully scented, deeply bonded to not just Euijoo but all of them, he would have laughed in their face.
Now, when he thought about his future, all he saw was the pack.
And he saw Euijoo. Always Euijoo.

It was always the same damn thing. A text on a Friday night, some pathetic excuse for an empathetic question. A thinly veiled attempt to distract from what he really wanted.
And Nicholas was a pathetic excuse for a self-respecting man, because every time Euijoo texted to ask if he was up, or what he was up to, or how his day was, he always responded. Sometimes he’d manage to make it an hour, but he usually folded within a few minutes. Soft like fabric, unable to hold any structure.

Summary
Something shifts, then. Inside of Euijoo. Around him. The entire world shifts, suddenly feeling so off-kilter that he feels slightly dizzy with it. Like it’s suddenly spinning on an axis that doesn’t exist.
No. This isn’t happening. This can’t be happening, because Euijoo has already seen that picture, 24 hours ago. He stared at it yesterday morning, while he was still fuzzy with sleep, feeling giddy over the slightly exposed skin. It’s not possible that he only just posted it, a mere two hours ago. Did he delete it, just to post it again? Maybe the engagement wasn’t as good as they had hoped, deciding to post it on a Saturday, instead?
Just as he’s about to click into the comments, to see if anyone is saying anything about the apparent repost, a notification comes through at the top of his screen.

Summary
Living with Nicholas is great. They keep their mess to themselves, they don’t make too much noise, and they’re queer, which makes the entire T gel situation much easier to work around, considering they’re on it too.
There’s one habit of theirs, however, that absolutely drives Euijoo up the wall.
Euijoo’s roommate Nicholas is terrible at knocking. Fortunately, it might end up doing them more good than bad.
