Kyrie thought the whole thing was hilarious.
"It's free stuff, Nero," she said, rolling her eyes as she cut the packaging off a new roll of socks that had been left on the kitchen table that morning. "We're not going to say no to free stuff."
"You don't know where my father got those socks!" he argued.
"They have a receipt."
"He probably bought them with stolen money," Nero said. "Put those down, Kyrie. Those are blood socks. If my father thinks he can buy my affection with eight dollar blood socks, he is sorely mistaken."
