So if Neo balks or squirms like some homophobic dick when Trinity walks up to him tonight, Neo will blow his chance to meet Morpheus and be freed and Trinity’s stupid crush on him will vanish in an instant and Trinity will know for sure that Neo isn’t the One.
And if he isn’t an asshole, Trinity will make contact and put in motion the steps to free him as planned.

The noise was deafening. It made the children’s teeth chatter and their hair stick up. It even woke Sharie from her nap.

Brienne has been out since she was a teenager. By the time she went off to college she’d been doing the whole openly trans thing for years, so it’s not uncommon for people to come and talk to her like she’s got everything all figured out.
She’s never had anyone pass out and nearly drown in the process of coming out to her though.
