Summary
"I've been thinking." Buck says when he finally reaches Eddie.
"That's dangerous." Eddie responds with a teasing smirk. Buck lets out a huff to show he is offended by the words to which Eddie laughs. "You were thinking." Eddie says now encouraging Buck to finish.
"We've been dating for a little over two weeks now." Buck continues on.
Eddie purses his lips. "Two weeks, three days, and-" He pauses to look down at his watch. "Roughly seven hours." Buck simply smiles at Eddie's habit of keeping specified times for certain things.
"Right." Buck breathes out, trying to recollect his thoughts. "And we haven't even been on a first date." The same realization Buck had moments ago is now washing over Eddie.

"We can kiss right now and know that it means absolutely nothing. Just two friends kissing." Buck says with a shrug to his shoulders as if this is a completely normal conversation that two very platonic best friends have on the daily.
"Yeah," Eddie says with a perplexed look on his face, "because we both know that we aren't attracted to each other." He adds, his voice wavering in pitch.
"Exactly!" Buck exclaims before a mischievous smile tugs on the corners of his lips. "One kiss to prove my point." He shrugs again.
Eddie's swallows the nervous lump in his throat, then says. "One kiss."

or : One innocent kiss has Buck and Eddie stumbling blindly into a friends with benefits situation, and the first rule of being friends with benefits is no emotions- too bad Buck and Eddie have never been ones to follow the rules.
