Summary
Miorine doesn’t hesitate for a second to wrap her arms around Suletta in return, the past few weeks of stress sliding off her shoulders right away. Her hands find their way under wavy red hair so she can clutch the gray sweatshirt Suletta is wearing, closing her eyes as Suletta’s familiar scent surrounds her. Her own bottom lip begins to quiver, tears pricking at the corners of her eyes while she presses herself closer to her wife. “You- you weren’t supposed to cry, idiot..” Her words are muffled against Suletta’s sweatshirt, but are more than clear enough for Suletta to hear them.
Suletta shakes her head against her, sniffling again. “B-but— I had no idea you were coming home!! I thought— it seemed like.. it was gonna be so much longer before I saw you again!” She slides a hand up to cup the back of Miorine’s head, calloused fingers threading into soft white locks.
Miorine feels herself melt into Suletta even further when a hand finds its way into her hair. “I couldn’t let those corporate pricks keep me away anymore…. Besides, I wasn’t sure how much longer you were going to survive without me.”

Miorine returns home from a very long business trip and reunites with her wife.
