Summary
Martin takes a deep breath, closes his eyes, and says, “I may have … met a god?”
Sasha blinks at him. “Is that a metaphor, or…?”
Softly, Martin says, “Their name is Jon.”
.
In a historical-esque fantasy world with gods and humans, Martin, a human who works as a librarian and bookbinder, stumbles across a temple full of books and meets Jon, a god of knowledge who’s taken an interest in Martin and wants to get to know him. Martin splits his time between working at the village library alongside Sasha, who’s suspicious of where all the new books are coming from, searching for a cure for his terminally ill mother who seems to dislike him no matter what he does, and visiting the temple to read books and tell stories with Jon. As he spends more and more time with Jon, Martin begins to realize how wonderful it is—but also how difficult it can be—to fall in love with a god.

Summary
Christ, this was going to be a long trip. Martin stared at the bed and breakfast they’d finally arrived at, just as the stars were beginning to wink into view. His bag felt insurmountably heavy in his hands, like it was filled with the weight of every single lie he was desperately hiding behind and that he would have to maintain for—god, weeks.
He was fucked. He was so, so fucked.
.
Jon, Sasha, Tim, and Martin are sent to investigate a series of disappearances on a small island off the coast of Scotland. As Jon resolves to ignore his crush on Martin and tries to figure out what the voices that whisper in his ear are trying to tell him, Martin struggles to keep up appearances and tries to ignore the fog that clings to him tightly. As they continue to unravel the secrets the island holds, they grow closer, and they begin to realize that things are not always as they seem.

Summary
Jon coughed again, and blood stained his lips and blood stained Martin’s hands where they pressed against Jon’s back and blood stained the floor beneath them and help, they needed help.
Martin doesn’t remember shouting. He barely remembers the faces that had surrounded them, wide-eyed and terrified, all utterly unfamiliar.
.
Jon and Martin wake up somewhere else. Jon begins a slow path toward physical recovery, and several important, long-put-off conversations are had as they begin to navigate a new world that they hadn’t thought they’d be alive to see.

Summary
Whatever he had predicted might happen, Jon wasn't expecting to survive upon demolishing the Panopticon. He certainly wasn't expecting to be rescued.
Instead, he wakes up in an alternative universe where he's never been the Archivist, and Martin Blackwood doesn't exist.
Martin Blackwood wakes up somewhere else entirely.

When Martin Blackwood takes a job working at Peter Lukas's estate, in the highlands of Scotland, he meets an odd man down by the shore, who looks at him like no one ever has. This man proves to be another secret Martin Blackwood must keep, for more reasons than one.
