Summary
There is no way to distinguish between scents in a place like this. Citrusy scents mix with earthy tones, reminding him of open fields, a salty sea breeze or a fresh cup of coffee in the morning. Erling closes his eyes while he keeps moving in time with the beat, getting lost in the excitement while being comforted by the familiarity.
Once this thought occurs, it stops him in his tracks. Nothing about this should feel familiar. Of course he is no stranger to clubs and partying, but he shouldn’t be able to smell this familiar scent that leads to the familiar pang of longing and want in his chest.
There he is. Jude. Smelling as lovely as always while Erling is still trying to regain his equilibrium.

Summary
“Are you scared?” When Michael looks at him, Musiala’s sorry ass looks like he really believes this: that Michael is scared of the water, not his age-old infatuation with Musiala. “I promise, it’s okay.” Musiala’s expression is so unfailingly earnest, his eyes warm and tender. “I’d never let you drown.”
Nothing in Michael’s life has really ended up how it’s supposed to, but at least Jamal Musiala is teaching him how to swim.

Summary
Luka Modrić has a problem. It has brown eyes, and hands that are always finding him. It started somewhere between the hugs that lasted a beat longer and it grew in the space of a kiss so quick, Luka almost convinced himself he imagined it—except his lips kept tingling for the rest of the day. Sergio touches him like he belongs to him and Luka just wishes he knew if it meant anything at all.

Summary
alicent hightower grew up watching princess rhaenyra targaryen of valyria from a distance; through headlines, scandals, and her head-of-the-global-council father's word-of-mouth. in adulthood, she's assigned to oversee the peaceful transition of power in valyria to find that rhaenyra targaryen is precisely as intractable as the media and her father promised—
and far, far more dangerous to the order alicent has built her entire life around.
(or; a modern royalty au with political optics, assassinations, absolutely no geographical accuracy, and a doomed sense of professionalism)
