"I've got it," He says, snapping his fingers to get her attention if his voice doesn't. "I know why I don't like your name."
"And why's that?" She doesn't look at him and it's sort of infuriating.
"Because it's wrong."
That got her, he thinks, because the best way to get her attention, if you're James Potter, is by being as obnoxious as you can.- Language:

Summary
Grantaire’s first flower appears when he is two years old. It’s late, for a First Bloom, considering some children are born with their First already etched above their hearts, but Grantaire’s parents are warm and loving and wait to see what sort of child they have born unto the world.
His First Bloom, when it comes, is vibrant patch of yellow carnations. He is too young to know what it means, and his parents don’t tell him, just—withdraw, and a much smaller patch of yellow carnations appears on his mother’s ankle.

Summary
When Musichetta asks about Grantaire’s new apartment, his order clutched in her hands like he owes her a tip in the form of juicy gossip before he’s allowed proper caffeination, there are several things he could say. He chooses the obvious.
1) His mail has been stolen and returned no less than three times, either accidentally or purposefully.
2) The walls are so thin that speaking in any tone louder than a mumble could potentially earn him a reply from the next apartment over, depending on which room he’s in.
3) His next-door neighbor has a penchant for yelling creative, impassioned insults at late-night news anchors while Grantaire is trying to sleep.-
Or, the one where Enjolras and Grantaire are neighbors.

Summary
Combeferre doesn’t push, which Enjolras thanks him for, which Enjolras will always thank him for. Instead he guides Enjolras with a gentle arm and far too much caution. Enjolras resents that. He is not some delicate thing that will shatter. He is strong as iron, and does not break.
In his arms little Geneviève sleeps soundly. He doesn’t know what to do with her. He doesn't know how to be a father.

Summary
If he was a religious man, Grantaire would say that when God was distributing football talent on this current generation of players, on the first day he looked at Germany. Then he looked at Brazil. Then he looked at a lot of other teams. And on the seventh day, God looked at France and said ‘you know what, I don’t really fancy it, it’s sunday and they already have croissants, I’m going back to bed.” Clearly, no one informed Enjolras of this.
Or that one World Cup AU in which Enjolras is very good at kicking a ball around and Grantaire is very good at making footballers punch him in the face.
Set during the 2018 World Cup.

Bookmarker's Notes
“That’s a lovely story,” Courfeyrac says. “Do you know what’s the saddest thing about it?”
“That it’s still a better love story than How I Met Your Mother?”
Courfeyrac’s face falls. “Too soon, man,” he whimpers. “Much too soon.”
Grantaire magnanimously refrains from pointing out that it’s been four years. Instead, he envelops Courfeyrac in a one-armed hug and awkwardly pets the back of his head.
“You’re too precious for this world, did you know?” he tells Courfeyrac’s neck.

Six times Enjolras and Grantaire tried to fool their friends, to no avail because, well, they're a little obvious.
