He had a knack for making just about everything into a life or death matter, even preferred it that way. The constant tension kept him focused, kept the ever-encroaching threat of boredom at bay. In his own way, it was how he lived life to the fullest. Today was special, though. Today he didn’t have to stoop to cheap thrills like starting a bar fight or fucking with Scaramouche’s intelligence network. Today was a rare treat, the real deal.

Every year, they audition to be one of the few representing Altea at the regional dance competition. Lance always auditions solo, but this year he misses out on auditions and blows his chance to participate. And so does his self-proclaimed rival, Keith.

    Luckily, Shiro comes up with a brilliant plan: convince Lance and Keith to audition as a duo.

    With a little convincing, and a lot of effort, these two might just be able to pull it off and go to regionals... or they might crash and burn.

    Being woken up at 6:30am on a Tuesday during the summer is not what Keith needs…especially since it's signaling the worst days of his life. Today is the first day of his senior retreat where he and his classmates travel over to the lake and spend time bonding and getting closer as a class.

    Keith really doesn't want to go, but his mother insists, saying he'll have fun. Once Keith learns who is in his group…he knows he won't survive the whole trip.

    His huge crush special feelings for his group leader are bound to get in the way at some point.
