Summary
After Virgil's parents passed away, he was sent to a boarding school to spend his time and studies. He receives his father's book of bedtime stories of a land far beyond theirs filled with elven runes to decipher, and a bracelet to match. The gifted bracelet glows when it requires a password. If the password being said is correct, he is immediately transported through a whirlpool to another world. There he finds that he has purple wings and hair and can understand unicorns. Shenanigans insue.

It's 12 am and Roman is bored. He had writer's block and decided to check on the fics he had bookmarked, hoping he'd see one that updated in the few hours he didn't check.
It was one of those slow days where he ended up endlessly scrolling through apps. Instagram, TikTok, Tumblr, Twitter and now AO3.
As the page loaded into his bookmarks, he saw a yellow text appear at the top of the page.
"Oh no," he said before even reading the text "Oh no no no no no no nooooooooo. Whyyy is this happening to ME specifically."
OR: AO3 is down so Roman and Remus decided to have a sleepover with the polycule.

Virgil had always been...the odd one out. He was overly edgy, abrasive, and generally considered rude. Oh, and if he had to guess, the weird ability to make people hallucinate their worst fears probably didn't help.
For the most part, he'd learnt to stop questioning it. That is, until a strange man and his somehow stranger friends come to him with a proposition.
Lying low was supposed to be the plan, but when everything he's ever known is put at stake, he supposed he'd have to get over it and learn to work with these weirdos.
