Summary
The blow from loss can be devastating, and affect the human body in many ways. Gakushuu knows that first hand. With every educational loss in his life (very few) he'd experience the need for nothingness. Either the exhaustion from a lack of sleep, or the dreariness from a lack of eating, Gakushuu experiences a subconscious recalling of memories that he never chose to tuck away. His father witnesses his collapse.

Summary
Gakushuu’s eyes wander back to the water, staring into the flowing currents beneath them. His traitorous mind whispers to him, leaning closer to the fall. But before he can stop it, a question already slips past his lips.
“What’s it like?”
“What do you mean?” Ikeda looks at him.
Gakushuu watches the water below, observing the foam on top of it swirling around, light as if it were cotton. A longing crosses his eyes before he looks away and sets his gaze on the horizon line in the distance. After a few moments, he speaks again.
“Drowning. What is it like?”
Gakushuu starts to continuously see a strange boy, who bears an eerie resemblance to his father’s deceased student. First, he chalks it up to a coincidence or his imagination, but after a while, the stranger confronts him.
Claiming to be Ikeda Rikuto.

Gakushuu is a fan of sugary desserts. To treat himself, and avoid being spotted by any unsavory characters, he takes a train to a fine café to indulge himself where mistakenly thinks he's safe. He is everything but.
