The wolf plastered to his back, watching his every move, growling when someone so much as brushes against him–yeah, it must be hell. Interspecies hybrid relationships are hardly uncommon, but this is different. A prey and his natural predator? That's a recipe for disaster.
So they'll whisper and gossip and stare, if only for as long as it takes until the wolf scowls in their direction.
“It must be rough,” they'll titter on. “I don't envy him. What was he thinking, doing that to himself?”
People will always speculate and pass judgment on Soobin's relationship with Kai. The reality of it is much different than expected.

“Are you sniffing my clothes, mate?” Lando’s voice violently rips Oscar back to reality.
Oscar drops the hoodie like it’s turned into a venomous snake, recoiling in shock. Lando’s standing in the doorway, motionless, one hand still on the doorknob. Oscar can’t quite read the expression on his face, but he doesn’t need to in order to hear the incredulity ringing out in Lando’s voice.
“Um,” Oscar stammers, panic setting in. This looks so bad.
Alternatively:
Oscar's been obsessed with Lando since he was 14. Now they’re teammates at McLaren, and he's struggling to keep it together. Lando's not a better man.
