“And paraphernalia,” Richie says, as himself. “This is our third tour together. What the hell did you think I kept in here? Communion wafers?”
“I don’t know!” Eddie says, sitting up. “I tried not to think about it! How many state lines has that bag crossed?”
“A lot.” Richie grins. “Yes or no?”

Summary
There’s an odd lurching sensation in the back of his mind, half remembered: as if some vast piece of machinery is gearing up. He had the same feeling when they first met Ben, and then Bev and Mike; when they built the clubhouse; when they stepped through the door of the house on 29 Neibolt Street. A sense of inevitability, of the world bending itself to some unseen will.
Or: after everything, Richie goes back into the tunnels to bring Eddie home.

"Just like when we were kids," Eddie says, grinning, like he's remembering the same things. Richie's mom's footsteps pounding down up the stairs, Richie's bedroom door slamming open as she shouted at them to shut the fuck up for the tenth time.
"Yeah, just like," Richie says. He lifts his hand to touch Eddie's face, wanting to touch him and knowing Eddie won't mind. He ends up smacking his hand down hard, a slap of a caress to hide his want, leaving Eddie frowning so he can go shower and get ready for bed.

Stiles doesn't remember how he and Scott first met, mostly because he doesn't remember a time when Scott wasn't around. It's like - he was too young to have a firm grasp on his memories, but the moment he could hold onto something, the moment he could look back and recall specific details without the aid of a family member or an old home movie, Scott was just. There.
