Summary
When Rodrick Heffley, the lazy, loud-mouthed drummer with zero ambition, crosses paths with Regina George, the flawless and feared queen of the high school social scene, they clash instantly. She thinks he’s annoying; he thinks she’s a bit of a b-i-t-c-h. But there’s just something about him that gets under the skin in a way she can’t recognize. Is it the guyliner or the teasing banter she can’t seem to resist engaging with? He is NOT her type. But Regina is his and she kind of likes that…

Summary
Regina George didn’t do “beginner.” She didn’t learn things—she decided to be good at them. Usually it worked.
So the fact that she was sitting on a squeaky, lopsided drum stool in Roderick Heffley’s dingy basement — surrounded by empty soda cans, band posters that looked like they’d been ripped out of Hot Topic in 2006 — was a personal low. The basement was an assault on her senses. It smelled like energy drinks, sweat, and expired teenage ambition. A single lightbulb hung from the ceiling, flickering just enough to make her feel like she was about to be interrogated.
Or:
Rodrick tries to teach Regina the drums. She is miraculously bad at it, but Rodrick does not care. She's hot as hell
