“Mydei, I think I remember what else Anaxa and Hyacine said about these mushrooms.” There’s a tremble to his voice—barely there, but enough to hook something deep in Mydei’s spine and drag it taut. "These....these mushrooms, they’re also a very potent aphrodisiac.”
“...How…how potent?”
Phainon swallows thickly. “Potent like one bite is enough to leave you, well, aroused, for hours…”
Mydei stares down at the four stems of the mushrooms he’d devoured, then lets his gaze fall back to Phainon’s five.
Fucked. They are so fucked.
Or, in which Mydei and Phainon accidentally ingest a powerful aphrodisiac, and the only way to break its effects is to fuck each other.

In which Mydei rage-baits Phainon, gets drilled into the mattress, and unlocks a new breeding kink. All in that order.

The light of the sun blazes so brightly that its flame reaches the one outside, yet the fire of four hundred million Coreflames still isn’t enough to break through the final barrier, for Phainon to escape his fate. The sun burns itself up, the magnificently radiant dying throes of a supernova, and impossibly, impossibly his final blaze grazes the body of the divine.
But to the Aeon watching, the incarnation of Destruction, this searing flicker of flame, so brilliant it draws a drop of golden blood across THEIR face, is akin to the caress of a lover.
Phainon falls, but someone intercepts before he is merged into Irontomb. The nature of Destruction is conflict, to consume oneself, and to consume others, in order to beget greater devastation… But that doesn’t mean Nanook can’t show THEIR favor.

Phainon freezes. He doesn’t look up at Nanook. “It is a dream,” he spits out. “A nightmare."
“Is it?”
Phainon’s pulse pounds in his ears. “It is. You can’t harm me here.”
“Harm you?”
Phainon’s gaze is inexorably drawn upwards as Nanook moves. A slow tilt of their head, leaning to the side, until their cheekbone rests against the edge of Dawnmaker. Right where Phainon had drawn that tiny drop of blood at the cost of millions of years of suffering.
“You brought Us a beautiful Destruction. Since the beginning, no one has left a mark on this vessel. Other than you. Harm is not Our objective. We are only…intrigued.”
Amphoreus is saved. Everyone is alive. Lygus and Irontomb are defeated. All is well…except for Phainon’s persistent nightmares of a certain Aeon – visions he’s no longer sure are just nightmares, but instead something far darker. But despite how the torment of Destruction lingers, Phianon does not suffer alone.
